A Visit to The Bellarine Railway Easter 2024
During a visit to the Bellarine Railway on Easter
Monday 2024, On arrival at Queenscliff Station I noticed steam locomotive
251 shunting to form the first passenger service of the day donned with an
Easter Bunny headboard.
However, after running around the carriages and
shunting into the Point Lonsdale end of the platform the headboard had
been removed as shown in the next photograph.
I must also point out that at the time of visiting trains were only
traveling between Queenscliff Station and Lakers Siding just outside Point
Lonsdale and not all the way to Drysdale station due to ongoing track
rejuvenation work.
